Wellesley Green Schools
Mission

Wellesley Green Schools is a collaborative group of students, parents and staff working together to reduce Wellesley schools' ecological footprints, and inspire students to create a healthy sustainable world.  

Goals

  • Waste Diversion: Reduce waste in classrooms, cafeteria and at school events by recycling and composting and utilizing SMART Event Guide recommendations

​

  • Buildings: Work with School Committee and other stakeholders to ensure that new and existing schools are meeting sustainability goals​​​​​​
