This dangerous landfill releases poisonous gases and leachate into the environment. Let's lessen its impact on neighboring state forest land and two neighboring environmental justice communities that already bear the brunt of the site’s pollution by REDUCING OUR WASTE!
That means re-use and re-purpose and compost more. Plus try to use less; there are health, environmental, social justice and financial reasons to do so.
Wellesley's Recycling and Disposal Facility (RDF) has many resources and our clean, sorted waste makes money for our Town! So get your station ready at home, talk to all and start sorting.
